A splendid quality rare solid silver pocket snuff box it is hallmarked with the makers mark being Samuel Pemberton Birmingham England 1815
This rare desirable George III solid silver pocket snuff box is curved in design and is decorated with the most amazing detail all around the box, the hinged cover, base and two sides has a beautiful bright cut engraved foliate decoration which has been hand engraved very finely, resulting in an intricate and aesthetically pleasing stunning design.
The decoration is in excellent, crisp, condition.
The Cartouche in the centre of the lid has been monogrammed with the initials WM
The quality of the craftsmanship is superb which is to be expected from a Samuel Pemberton piece, this would have once belonged to a very wealthy Georgian family member, this was many many years ago when times were so very different, if this snuff box could talk I can just imagine what fascinating stories it could tell, this snuff box is so very tactile and once held it has the most wonderful feel. This rare snuff box will add something very special to any collection

In absolutely beautiful condition for its age of 205 yrs old with no structural issues just the normal amount of surface wear expected minor dings, doesn't detract at all from its rare beauty, just mentioned for accuracy.
