Harrison Brothers Ornate Silver and Stainless-Steel Cake Slice with ‘Queen's Pattern’ Handle 1971


This is a charming example of a stainless steel and silver cake slice 

The piece has a stainless-steel blade, which is marked on one side with the words Superior Bright Cut Quality Stainless Sheffield England.

The handle is made from silver and is moulded in the classic ‘Queen's Pattern’.

On one side it is impressed with the Sheffield Assay Office, the lion passant, and the letter ‘D’, which corresponds to the date 1971.

In addition, there is a maker’s mark above, which is the letters ‘HB’ in a diamond which corresponds to the Harrison Brothers.
